This is my daughter,Tegan. This picture was taken on her 6th “crapaversary”, her diagnosis day, just this August 13. We call it her crapaversary because while we want to celebrate the warrior she is, it was a pretty crappy thing she had to go through!
Tegan was two years old when she was diagnosed with ALL on August 13, 2011. She had various struggles throughout treatment but didn’t let them slow her down. She completed treatment after 26 months.
Today, she still struggles with some minimal side effects from treatment, but is a bright and active girl! She loves rhythmic gymnastics, being with her family, singing, painting, and adores her big sister!
She is fiercely and desperately loved and we are thankful for her every day.
Thank you for all you do Tom!!
